This years event was held on Wednesday 8th August and was attended by Many. Some of the Team from Maryport Rescue were at the event with one of our Land rovers, offering both vehicle and first Aid support.
The team marshalled the course throughout the race which ran between Netherhall school in Maryport, up to Dearham on the Cockermouth Road, and although the route was different than previous years, the event was very well supported and many entries were recorded.
We would like to thank those from Netherhall Athletics Club who have organises another successful event, and for their kind donation. The donation will contribute to the everyday running costs required to keep the Emergency Service afloat. Could we also extend our thanks and a very big well done to all of this years entrant’s. Hope to see you all again next year.
